Born in the late 60’s Mark grew up listening to his parents favourites, mainly 70’s, Disco, Funk, Soul and Motown. During the 80’s he found himself being drawn to the sounds of Ska, 2 Tone, Northern Soul and the scooter scene whilst still enjoying his soul music at many of the North East Essex Nightclubs. After running pubs, bars and clubs in Australia and the UK he brought his own pub in 96 and found getting decent DJ’s bit of a nightmare. He decided to start doing a bit for himself. Then he met a guy called Soamesy through the scooter scene and he encouraged Mark to take DJing to the next level. He got invited to do a couple of guest slots on a soul show on local community radio which gave him the bug. In June 2020 Over the last 5 years Mark has had the pleasure of been asked to play at various Soul all-dayers and weekenders here in the UK and abroad
